Moon Journaling For Kids

After observing the Harvest Moon the other night it got me thinking about various ways to connect the kids to the night sky. It is so awe inspiring and helps us understand our place in this world from a whole new perspective.

As the days grow shorter the stars and moon can start to be included in our nighttime routine again. I like to take the kids out before bed to see the moon and stars when possible so when I found this moon journal it seemed perfect! It's a wonderful free journal that can be printed out and I'm so excited to try it!

This Free Moon Observation Journal for Kids can be found on a site called, Buggy and Buddy. If you haven't been on this site, it is a great teaching and learning resource for parents.

Let your little ones say good night to the moon tonight and let your older ones try their hand at the journaling. Wrap up the day by greeting the night. Perfect ending in book.
